This was a once in a lifetime opportunity for our family to experience our very first safari, so, there was a mix of trepidation and excitement, and some hard to define expectations. It was all delivered with such efficiency and excellence that we cannot thank Lara enough.

Lara absolutely got the brief to a ‘T’ and created a truly memorable holiday. From the moment we stepped off the plane in Nairobi to the moment we were delivered back there, we experienced phenomenal service throughout. We were treated to some of the most exceptional locations, experiences, surprises, and outstanding hotels and lodges.

The advice on what to do and the flawless execution of every detail were truly first class. To think we even debated the “walking in the wild” option… what a truly fabulous experience – one of the highlights! Two days walking in the savannah as a family with three Masai guides (a team of ten in total), learning about their knowledge and life in the wild, then returning to camp to wash, eat, and sleep under the stars — it was an unforgettable experience we’ll treasure forever.

Post-safari, we wound down at Kinondo Kwetu on Diani Beach — another fabulous location with wonderful staff and food.

Nairobi, Lewa Conservancy, Lewa Wilderness, and Kinondo Kwetu cannot be recommended highly enough. Kenya is a must, it shone brightly, particularly under the expert stewardship of Lara.
