Nice to meet you
Jamie is the founder and director of Hide and Seek Travel.  After studying for a BSc in Geography at Aberdeen University and an MSc in Environmental Consultancy at Newcastle University, Jamie took a year out exploring Africa, where his passion for the continent began. With a travel bug far from quenched, a 12 year career in travel consultancy followed working in two small, independent and award-winning companies. During this time he not only gained a wealth of on the ground experience in East and Southern Africa, but also continued to be inspired to uncover and share the immersive opportunities the world has to offer.
After years of experience in setting up bespoke travel itineraries for clients and making numerous research trips to Africa (and beyond?), Jamie knows the impact a great journey can have. Driven by this belief, he launched Hide and Seek in 2017, with the ambition of creating a company that puts both a love of daring travel, and the pursuit of unique and rich experiences at its heart.
