The hotel is a small property with an array of spectacular settings to eat, drink and relax. Guests can observe the tranquil beach surroundings on the roof terrace or veranda, roam the gardens or drink cocktails at the popular local bar. Tasty fresh seafood and traditional Swahili-style cooking can be eaten in the formal dining area or overlooking the ocean in the intimate bar area. The fresh water swimming pool is sheltered in the lush secret garden right on the beach, surrounded by hammocks and sunbeds.

A host of water sports are also available such as windsurfing, kayaking, sailing and waterskiing or snorkelling at local coral reefs to spy turtles and dolphins. For land lovers, Lamu Town and the ruins of Takwa are nearby and worth a visit.
