Each of the 71 villas has direct beach access, a pool terrace and a sheltered private garden. Accommodation ranges from couple-friendly beachside villas through to larger premier suites that feature double bedrooms, a kitchen and 45m2 pool. More even more space, look to the expansive five-bedroom residences with butler service, and finally the presidential villa, with its open-plan living/dining space, large pool, BBQ facilities, and private gym.
Four Seasons’ accommodation is luxurious yet understated, incorporating natural wood textures, rattan furniture, and subtle flecks of colour to create a tastefully eclectic style. All suites come with marble bathrooms and rainforest showers.
Facilities
Dining options range from The Lighthouse’s grills and seafood to Claudine’s poolside Mediterranean cuisine, while a more relaxed selection of pastries and charcuterie boards is served on the all-day menu at The Deli. There are a number of stylish cocktail bars and lounges onsite, perfect for pre-dinner sundowners or light tapas. In-room dining is also available, regardless of whether your cravings are for breakfast or a midnight snack!
The Castaway Centre comes equipped for a variety of water sports as a well as fishing, and there is an onsite fitness centre and pool. The Oceanside Spa features five treatment suites offering massages, body treatments and facials, while an open-air pavilion is the setting for private or group yoga classes.
Activities
Guests may choose from a variety of water sports ranging from snorkelling, kayaking and paddle boarding to windsurfing and sailing. Also available are scuba diving, boat trips and various forms of fishing (deep-sea, game and fly-fishing).
Land-based activities include nature walks with the island conservationist, cycling (each guest is allocated their own bike), spa treatments, yoga sessions, tennis and volleyball.
A trip to the island’s tortoise sanctuary is a great opportunity to see giant Aldabra tortoises up close, while the Discovery Centre offers guided snorkelling sessions with the resident marine educator. A children’s club caters for four to 12 year olds with daily activities.
