Linkwasha Camp is a modern, luxurious camp on the private Linkwasha Concession. Looking out across a pan and a permanent watering hole, guests can enjoy diverse wildlife, flexible and exclusive game viewing and panoramic views of the surrounding bush from the comfort of the camp’s decks.

Location
The camp lie within the private Linkwasha Concession in Hwange National Park. The Concession, owned and operated by Wilderness Safaris, is made up of Kalahari savannah, acacia woodlands, teak forests and palm islands with an impressive variety of wildlife and exceptional year-round game viewing. The camp shares the concession with its three sister properties yet due to it being such a large area, other vehicles are rarely seen giving guests a truly exclusive safari experience.
Rooms
Eight tents overlook the pan with huge interiors and sliding doors to offer wonderful views of the surroundings. Plenty of natural light flows into the open-plan rooms where a lounge area with comfortable seating and a writing desk sits at the heart of the space. En suites have glass-fronted showers and twin basins.
Communal Areas
The main area is reached by raised platforms and offers an open-sided library, bar and lounge area. For colder months an enclosed ‘winter lounge’ boasts a cosy fireplace and comfy sofas. The space has plenty of options for dining with tables dotted throughout the indoor and outdoor space. Head to the firepit for post-safari drinks or cool off in the plunge pool during the midday heat.
Activities
Due to its location on the private Linkwasha Concession, activities at the lodge are flexible and offer a more exclusive setting for exploration. Guests can also take day and afternoon drives in the national park or on the Ngamo Plains where large herds of elephants, buffalo and plains game reside. Night drives are available on the concession. Encounter lion, elephant and spotted hyena up close on guided safari walks and enjoy regular conservation and wildlife talks back at camp with Linkwasha’s resident ecologist. For an even wilder experience, the camp has a sleep-out deck for evenings spent under the stars.
