Location

Serengeti Kati Kati is a mobile tented camp strategically located in the Seronera region of Tanzania, providing an excellent central base from which to explore the Serengeti National Park. The camp is surrounded by open grasslands and has a genuine wilderness feel, appealing to those looking for an authentic safari experience in a secluded location. This part of the Serengeti offers solid year-round game-viewing and particularly good opportunities for spotting lion, leopard and cheetahs.

Rooms

There are ten tents at camp, each reflecting the old-world safari charm with added modern comfort. There are king-size beds or twin beds, solar power which runs throughout for hot showers and warm interior lighting and chairs sit facing out towards the plains for peaceful wildlife viewing from your tent.

Communal Areas

Kati Kati Camp has an open-sided dining tent with both indoor and outdoor seating and buffet style dining from the camp’s personal chef. Another tent provides a small library and lounge area for a sun-filled spot to relax after a day on the plains.

Activities

the one hour drive to visit the Olduvai Gorge where Louis and Mary Leakey made important archaeological discoveries, visit the unique ecosystems surrounding the Moru and the Maasai kopjes or spend time with locals at traditional Maasai villages. Guests can also take hot air balloon rides over the savanna with a picnic breakfast to follow and end the day with sundowners around the campfire.
