The Belmond Mount Nelson Hotel is in the Tamboerskloof region of Cape Town, just moments from the city centre. With Table Mountain looming just behind the hotel’s pink exterior, guests are close to both the restaurants, bars and clubs of Kloof Street and Long Street. and the thrilling hikes and sunsets atop the mountain.
Rooms
The 198 rooms are in two categories, Superior and Deluxe. Interiors are decorated in soothing cream and white tones with king-sized beds, writing desks, lounge areas and chic chandeliers overhead. Fresh, colourful flowers are dotted around the space and some of the rooms have private balconies offering views into the gardens. En-suites are entirely marble with bathtubs and showers.
Communal Areas
There are numerous spaces to relax in at the hotel with various lounges spread throughout offering comfy seating, chandeliers and artwork lining the walls. Afternoon tea is served in one of the spaces and guests can dine at the Lord Nelson Restaurant, the Oasis Bistro or in a lounger by the pool.
