Although only 5km from Cape Town’s bustling Camps Bay, the hotel feels quiet and remote, being the only building on this part of the coast between Llundudno Beach and Camps Bay. Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and backed by the Twelve Apostles mountain range, it’s very scenic and lies just ten minutes from the beaches, bars and restaurants of Camps Bay.

There are 70 sea-themed rooms decorated in a classic style with options ranging from Classic Rooms to Mountain-facing Suites. All rooms have king-sized beds, en-suite bathrooms and indulgent décor. They all offer mountain or ocean views and the suites have the addition of comfortable, separate lounge areas. For added luxury, the Presidential Suite offers a large, open-plan space with Italian chandeliers, a dining room, a wrap-around terrace with ocean views and an antique marble bathtub in the en-suite.
Communal Areas
Guests can choose to dine on the terrace in the opulent Azure Restaurant with wonderful ocean views or overlooking the mountains in the Café Grill, a more casual dining option with a huge ice-cream menu. The Leopards Bar is frequented by both locals and guests who flock here to enjoy nightly entertainment, drinks and sunset views. For a relaxing afternoon, the heated pool is surrounded by sun loungers and the spa offers cleansing Arabic rituals, massages, hydrotherapy pool and much more. During the evenings, guests can enjoy use of the 16-seater cinema.
Activities
The hotel offers a Sports Buddy programme where attentive and friendly staff are on hand to join guests on hikes and trips. Walk the many marked mountain trails into Table Mountain National Park, take scenic bike rides to Chapmans Peak or go golfing at the Metropolitan Golf Club.
