Location
The apartments sit just off the buzzing Kloof Street in central Cape Town, an extension of the world-renowned Long Street. Kloof Street has a plethora of eateries and bars with the bistros of Bree street nearby and all the sites within walking distance, including the Table Mountain cable car . Guests have access to all the facilities at sister property, Cape Cadogan and the hotel offers complimentary shuttles to the waterfront.
Rooms
There are 22 spacious rooms with fully equipped kitchens, open-plan lounge and dining areas and en-suite bathrooms. Interiors are individually designed and decorated in warm tones of cream and grey. Although with retro-modern furnishings, the rooms retain their historic character and colourful original features. Shuttered doors lead to private balconies or courtyards. Groups or families can book Redcliffe House, a four-bedroom villa with a contemporary design and plenty of space. Enjoy en-suite bathrooms stocked with organic Africology products, fully-equipped kitchen and dining room, a lounge deck with swimming pool and a BBQ courtyard.
Communal Areas
Communal areas are small as guests enjoy plenty of lounge and dining space in their apartments. However, there is a cosy lounge area where tea is served and breakfast can be enjoyed in the dining room, both with a homely and warm atmosphere. Reception staff are on hand 24/7 should you require assistance.
Activities
Many of Cape Town’s attractions are within walking distance of the apartments. Take day hikes up Table Mountain, relax on the pretty Camps Bay Beach or explore the nearby wine farms in the region. Explore the malls, markets and jazz cafés of the city, watch the sunset atop Signall Hill or take a trip to the infamous Robben Island.
