The hotel overlooks the Atlantic Ocean from a pebbled beach at the foot of Chapman’s Peak. This remote, waterside property sits within Table Mountain National Park and is tucked away beneath milkwood trees to provide a feeling of peace while still being around 30 minutes from the city’s top attractions. It also enjoys panoramic views of Hout Bay Harbour and the dramatic Sentinel mountain peak.

Each of the uniquely designed suites at Tintswalo Atlantic are large and very well-appointed, paying homage to the rich natural surroundings and heritage of the area. There are ten ocean-facing luxury suites which enjoy complete privacy, sliding glass doors that open to decks over the ocean and views across the bay. Each named after an island, the rooms show exceptional attention to detail, such as the shabby chic style of Antigua Island Suite, the coral-serenity of Saint Marie Island Suite and the Italian elegance in the Sicily Island Suite.
Communal Areas
Dine on fresh, locally sourced cuisine in Tintswalo Atlantic’s dining room which flows out to an expansive wooden deck and sea views or talk with the chefs in the interactive kitchen as they prepare your meal. There is a lounge and bar area made cosy by the fireplace and a wine cellar to explore. Relax in hammocks on the pebbled beach, take a dip in the heated swimming pool or indulge in treatments at the hotel spa.
Activities
At Tintswalo Atlantic, all activities are provided by Escape + Explore who curate unique experiences with a very knowledgeable and hands-on team. Take the short scenic drive into Cape Town and the V&A Waterfront, hike along the secluded beaches, through the fynbos reserves and up to the peak of Table Mountain. Take boating cruises, fishing trips or an excursion to the historic Robben Island. Journey through the Winelands or go shark diving just outside of Cape Town.
